Danish Photojournalism is a showcase and a news site from the Department
of Photojournalism at The Danish
School of Media and Journalism, Aarhus, Denmark.
The Danish School of Media and Journalism began educating photojournalists
back in 1992 and ever
since we have developed an intense and creative programme. We run both
a Danish BA
programme (4 years study) and two international courses (half a
year each) in photojournalism. The
international courses are The
Language of Photojournalism and Advanced
Visual Story Telling. All our photojournalism courses are highly
renown around the world. And a lot of our students are prize winning
photojournalists.
The purpose of this website is to give our great students a chance
to show the work they've made while studying at the Danish School of
Media and Journalism. At the same time we have the possibility to write
news about our students and from The Department Photojournalism.
All in all this should give you a chance to explore the quality of
work made by our students and give you an insight in the daily life
at our school.
The website is maintained by the faculty teachers, Søren
Pagter and
Mads Greve. The webmaster,
supporter and designer is Sofus
Comer.
The students themselves upload their work to this website and therefore
they decide which work to show and whether they want to display anything
at all.
Danish Photojournalism only displays work of current and former students
of photojournalism from
the Danish School of Media and Journalism, Aarhus, Denmark.
